The Ukrainian American Bar Association [UABA] will host the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States, Amb. Oleksander Motsyk, at a luncheon to be held at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington, D.C. on February 19, 2011 from 12:00 pm. Attendance is limited to UABA members and spouses only to give them an opportunity to have an open dialogue on Ukrainian issues of interest.  Amb. Motsyk is a career diplomat and has served admirably and with distinction in all Ukrainian presidential administrations during the nearly 20 years of Ukrainian independence.

Simultaneously and at the same hotel, The Washington Group [TWG] is having its Annual Leadership Conference from 9 AM to 3 PM and has kindly accommodated the UABA by yielding its luncheon program time to our organization.  TWG also invites all UABA members to participate in their conference at the standard registration fee payable at the door. That evening, at the same hotel, a formal black tie Ukrainian Winter Ball will be hosted by The Taras Shevchenko School of Ukrainian Studies of Greater Washington in cooperation with TWG. By combining these three events into one venue, attendees will be given an excellent opportunity for “powerful networking, provocative discussions, and lively social interaction”.
