2013 UABA ANNUAL CONVENTION

Conference Program
You will enjoy a great conference and many friends.
This is ALL-INCLUSIVE (and we mean all-inclusive!!). Participants will be exempt from the usual 11% VAT, but you have to be signed in as an attendee of the UABA Convention (for details see below).

Run of House Room:
• 155.00 per person, per day (Double occupancy)
• 205.00 per person, per day (Single occupancy)
Jacuzzi Swim Up Junior Suite OR Premium Jacuzzi Suite:

• 265.00 per person, per day (Single occupancy)
Premium Jacuzzi Swim Up Suite:
• 215.00 per person, per day (Double occupancy)

Convention Fee
The Convention fee is $85.00 for all participants, except Law Students, who are free. All UABA members must be current on their dues to participate in the convention.
All persons attending the UABA as guests (as members of other Ukrainian professional organizations) must still pay the $85. Fee. The fee covers the attendee’s spouse/significant other.
Deadlines
You have until September 16 to make reservations, but the earlier you reserve, the better rooms you will obtain.
Extended Stays
For those wanting to extend the opportunity, the above-quoted rates will be honored for period of October 14-17 and 20-23.
Airport Transport
Cancun, MX is the nearest airport. The resort does not provide airport transport. Dunwoodie Travel will arrange for transport.

Making hotel arrangements through Dunwoodie Travel is at no-cost to you, and will make sure that you obtain the 0% VAT (otherwise, you will be subject to an extra 11% tax).

0% VAT (Value Added Tax)
Participants will be exempt from the usual 11% VAT for the above accommodations. However, you must be signed-up for the convention to be exempt. To obtain the exemption, you must:
•· present at check-in your immigration document (tourist card) provided to all international visitors upon arrival to Mexico. Such document must be properly stamped by the immigration authorities and valid at least for the duration of the program.
•· present at check-in your Passport.
•· pay by a Credit Card issued abroad (skip this if you sign through Dunwoodie Travel).
You may be required by law to pay the 11% VAT at check-out, and the amount will thereafter be reimbursed. The UABA is exploring options by which UABA will be responsible for the VAT to avoid the inconvenience of paying and then being reimbursed.
